North Shore, Nova Scotia - Economy, Five Islands, Parrsboro, Spencer's Island, Cape D'Or, Ca
Last week we did a post about the south shore of Nova Scotia - this week we are displaying the collection of photos that we have taken over our many drives exploring Nova Scotia's other coast on the North Shore. For the past 10 years at least once a year I have toured this coast, finding new things to explore each time. Here are some of our favourite spots to take photos and hike. South Shore, Nova Scotia - Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay, Chester & Lunenburg

My evening in Victoria Park, Truro NS

I was surprised when I talked to people about the park many had never heard about it – even those who had visited Truro before. I recently spent the evening at th

Shubenacadie Provincial Wildlife Park
Every winter one of the trips that we make is a visit to the Shubenacadie Provincial Wildlife Park. It is open on the weekends during the winter and is a great time to visit - the animals seem to be a little more active and an awesome way to get out and do something outdoors in the winter.
